Northern Alberta boasts an overpopulation of Black Bears allowing for hunters to harvest 2 quality bears each year. Primal Adventures takes pride in hunting what we know to be some of the HIGHEST DENSITY of Blonde to Chocolate colour phase genetics in the province!

What to Expect

Hunters will enjoy a public land wilderness area of over 2000 square miles, most of which can be accessed readily via oilfield and logging road systems and trails. Black Bears are not a popular animal to hunt for locals or Alberta residents in this area, particularly because baiting is prohibited throughout the entire Wildlife Management Unit. This has allowed us to achieve great success year after year harvesting Trophy Class Boars. Low resident pressure on the area means we can manage our hunting habits for continued success. As early spring develops, our area flourishes with semi-natural food plots on the large pipelines and remote oil well right-of-ways. Massive reclaimed logging cuts and trails also provide lush grasses and shrubs that the bears concentrate to at this time of year. Clients of ours commonly see multiple bears a day and we confidently advertise 100% opportunity rate on filling both tags.
