The Skagit Delta offers a chance to hunt world‑class waterfowl habitat entirely on public land. Out here, you're in the wetlands-moving with tides, watching birds work naturally, and experiencing the hunt the way it's meant to be. It's a unique blend of challenge and reward that you simply don't get in a field or pit. For many hunters, it becomes a bucket‑list hunt.
I will contact you the day before with a meet time and location. Start time will vary a bit with legal shooting hours and tides, with the trip lasting about 6-8 hours or until limits are reached. Bring snacks, waders, jacket, gun, and ammo. Expect to have a laid back and fun time!
Here is the list of items you are definitely going to need:
Bring your choice of 12ga or 20ga shotgun. Modified or improved choke, we shoot pretty close in.
Price: $350 for one hunter, $500 for two hunters.
Deposit: $100 nonrefundable deposit (currently deferred, awaiting captain's license).
Pricing includes all sales tax and processing fees.
I support youth hunting! A 3rd hunter may be allowed if he/she is a youth under the age of 16. Please contact me and ask.

We'll hunt in wetlands where water depth and footing change throughout the day. The hunt requires the ability to stand, move, and wade in water. Being comfortable walking or standing in water and soft ground is essential.
Washington Small Game License, Washington Migratory Bird Permit and Federal Duck Stamp are required at a minimum.
Snow goose and sea duck retention ((this is seldom how we hunt) also require the Washington Migratory Bird Authorization and Catch Record Card.
I recommend a Discover Pass for parking at all access points.
